I cannot remember exactly, in the film “A Beautiful Mind”, after being cured, John Forbes Nash, says he still sees his imaginary characters but knows that they are not real and learned to live with them.
A bit like heartaches…Time does not heal them. One learns to live with them. One, all the time, knows that they are lingering somewhere inside. Sometimes, usually on the less expected unguarded times, they find a way to come forward and take their stage.

I agree… Heartaches suck! However, I think I would prefer to have experienced them than not.. At least I know I have loved deeply..
Spot on!
Edit: Just recalled: As Ryan O’neil once said:
“Love means never having to say you’re sorry. ”
Note to self: Cut down watching movies. π
Must do the same!
How very precise!
Best wishes to you.
Hello Shiona,
Thank you.
Great point Levent!
I remember where in the movie he realized that those people he sees cannot be real, βShe canβt be real! She never grows!β he shouted to his wifeβ¦
I remember thinking, βDamn! Am I not real?β π
Hello Lua,
Thank you.
I’m putting on weight, is a way of growing too I guess. Therefore I’m slightly real! π
Hello Levente
Thank you for your comment. Coincidentally I am working on kabalah stuff at the moment. Fascinating.
I have not seen the film you mention but it occured to me that there are some people who can see through the veil and perceive others in another dimension. Must be disconcerting.
Best wishes.
Hello Tigerbrite,
Actually the point I refer to is in front of the veil.
I had the honour of knowing a couple of people who can see behind the veil. While talking with them there are times you feel you lose your breath. Fascinating indeed. Coincidentally one of them was also dealing with what you call kabalah.
Thank you for your comment and best wishes to you.
That is an excellent comparison about learning to live through something.
Thank you Tammy. I’m glad you liked it.
Hello, Levent, I just remembered that it is a film you are talking about. But there really are people with ‘second sight’ who do see all kinds of things – some past, some present, and some yet to be (maybe). Interesting blog.
Hello Jamie,
Yes, there are, as I said to Tigerbrite. Fascinating.
Hi Levent.
Nice post; I’ve never visited your page before, although I don’t know why…
Strange, I was thinking of this film only last week, and how real the imaginary characters were. They had such a hold on his mind, it was scary.
Hello Claire!,
How nice to see you on my blog. It was a different film.
I wonder what made you think the film.
Thanks for dropping by and the comment
Levent
Please allow me to ask a favor though I am probably more than just a little off topic here.
You remember your beautiful comment in Brendanoβs Blog:
http://brendano7.wordpress.com/2010/07/17/body-mind-spirit/
When I commented on yours you mentioned later on that the first one was part of a greater piece and you quoted a little more.
If it is not too much and if you can trace the entire source material [your own and whatever goes with it] and email me to confirm that you have it. You will have my email address when this comes in and I will get back to you. If it is any easier for you, you may drop any short comment in any of my latest Posts and I will find your email address from there.
Enough said; itβs a personal matter that I would like to tell you about βoff the airwavesβ as soon as I have heard from you. It does involve that comment of yours and my seventieth birthday tomorrow.
Thanks a heap.
Hello Ike,
Thank you for the nice words. I’m glad you liked them.
I’ll send you an email late afternoon.
I wish you a happy birthday and many happy returns.
Thanks for stopping by.
In the mean time, can you provide a link of your blog. I cannot find it.
Thanks Levent

This Post of yours and the comments are serene. It is my loss that I have not visited before.
Now I know where you are I’ll come and visit from time to time. π
Hello Ana,
Nice to see you here.
As for my blog, I don’t write often, only when “it” comes. Like a diary, only written when a “dear diary moment” comes. π
Thank you for the comment
Levent, you are a treasure and I love Turkey. I had a great time in Istanbul.
Blush! π
Not to return your compliment, it does not take talent to see you are a rare gifted young lady and certainly a great asset to your country.
A couple of nights ago I prayed for you, for faith (I don’t know if you do or don’t believe though).
Next time you are in Turkey, I’d love to welcome you and your boyfriend in my city.
Levent, dear Levent, I’m really touched; you are a lovely, sincere man. I do have a form of faith, though it is focused on more ancient dieties than those of Islam or Christianity. No matter; I respect sincerity in all religion. Are you on Facebook? I would love to have you as a friend.
I have an account on facebook. But not using it often. It will be my pleasure to have you as a friend.
Thank you.

Original name. I looked it up and liked the meaning. π
One of those films that I never got around to watching! Must find a copy π
Well, personally I think that film is overrated. Good film but not a masterpiece. π
Thanks for dropping by. I liked your blog very much. (And I’m glad that someone found happiness in Turkey)
And thanks for the comment.
Keep it up!
Hmmmmm ok well I won’t rush out and get a copy then!
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog and happy? Well most of the time!! As I’m sure you know, this country can be amazing, amusing, illogical and extremely frustrating all at the same time! Still I love it here even when I’m melting, like today π
